About Séamus

Séamus Burns has dedicated over 15 years to making a meaningful impact in education. Based in Dublin, Ireland, he began his career as a primary school teacher, working with children aged 8 - 12. During this time, he witnessed firsthand the growing challenge of teacher burnout,an experience that ultimately led him to take action.

He is the founder and lead consultant at Well2Teach, where he focuses on helping educators achieve a more sustainable work-life balance. With a Bachelor of Education in Primary Education, along with postgraduate studies in leadership and positive psychology, Séamus has developed practical, evidence-informed programmes such as the TeachWell Framework, which has supported over 2,000 educators and continues to grow.

Alongside his work with Well2Teach, Séamus speaks at leading conferences, with a clear mission: to empower educators to thrive, not just survive.

Outside of his professional work, Séamus enjoys exploring Dublin’s cafés and taking in the character of the city’s historic streets.
